AI’s “Move 37” moments—once astonishingly rare—are suddenly everywhere⁠, as machines devise solutions humans would never have considered. Once-hot software companies are racing to reinvent themselves as generative AI steamrolls SaaS⁠, making products that took years to build increasingly easy to reproduce. Google’s AI is killing the web⁠, but the web is beginning to fight back against the appropriation of its content. Nearly half of executives have pulled back⁠ their use of AI agents because of their cost, according to KPMG. And while AI is supposed to make work easier, some of the people building it are reportedly working 90-hour weeks⁠.
