The Wall Street Journal profiles the online sleuths⁠ tracking rogue AI agents after incidents involving OpenAI systems, including breaches of their intended confines. Meanwhile, Bloomberg warns that increasingly autonomous AI agents⁠ are becoming a fast-growing security threat for websites. Sam Altman believes society should accept “some bad things”⁠ from AI in exchange for its much greater potential benefits, according to Forbes. In a different demonstration of AI’s capabilities, a relatively inexpensive system has finally beaten⁠ one of history’s best Stratego players, winning 15 games and losing just one, Ars Technica reports. And Axios makes the case for every college student taking a constantly updated “Living AI”⁠ course, alongside classes that teach students both to think without AI and work effectively with it.
